SaySo winner of SHIFT NC Impact Award!

On Friday, May 26, SaySo's Executive Director, Ms. Carmelita Coleman, was presented the SHIFT NC Impact Award at the SHIFT NC conference in Greensboro, NC.

SHIFT NC- which stands for Sexual Health Initiative For Teenagers- has allowed SaySo to work extensively with Young Adults throughout North Carolina and educate them on Sexual Health Awareness.

Ms. Carmelita said after recieving the award that "As Executive Director for SaySo it is a huge honor to receive SHIFT NC's 2017 Impact Award today! It's a true privilege to receive this award during National Foster Care Month! Thank you SHIFT NC on behalf of the youth and young adults in foster care that we serve and advocate for everyday! Youth deserve the right to have choice, access and information regarding their own sexual and reproductive health! I'm glad SaySo empowers them to do so!"

SaySo greatly looks forward to partnering with SHIFT NC in the future, and we here at SaySo speak on behalf of the youth we serve and would like to thank SHIFT NC for this great honor and for all of the tremendous work SHIFT NC has done to educate Young Adults on such important issues relevant to the youth we serve and represent!
